Born in 1955 in Vienna, Austria, Gabriel Lansky completed his legal studies in Austria, France and the US, and graduated (Dr jur) from the Vienna University Law School in 1979. In 1991, Gabriel Lansky established his own law firm and in 2002 expanded it by forming the partnership Lansky, Ganzger & Partner Rechtsanwälte. The law firm's number of employees totals 70 people, including nine attorneys and ten associates. He is a member of the following Bar associations: Brussels, Budapest and Bratislava. Lansky, Ganzger & Partner has a wide network of subsidiaries and correspondent offices throughout the whole world. He deals with correspondence in German, English, French and Spanish. His areas of practice include privatisation (privatisation proceedings in Austria and CEE; restructuring of publicly owned enterprises), public procurement (representation of tenderers and public authorities in procurement procedures; outsourcing of public services; public-private partnerships; PPP-models; financing of public services and Maastricht criteria), competition law (state aid and EU funding; merger control) and human rights (protection of civil and human rights before Austrian and European courts; restitution claims).
